Stone thyme forms a low plant that blooms in July – August – September with light lilac blue flowers. The fine aromatic leaves smell like mint and can also be used in cooking.
The plant is very attractive to bees, bumblebees and butterflies and combines well with Mediterranean plants such as low thyme, lavender, rosemary and oregano.
