Thymus vulgaris or thyme is, of course, a well-known kitchen herb. The height of this thyme is about 25 to 30 cm. The plant blooms in the months of June and July with small lilac-colored flowers. This aromatically fragrant herb plant also fits well in the rock garden or herb garden.

Care tips
Thyme prefers a sunny spot. In moderate frost, it is recommended to cover the plant in the open ground with conifer branches, for example. After flowering in June, the plant should be pruned back slightly.
