Thyme does not like to have wet feet in winter, so it is important that water can drain well.

Always put thyme in a sunny, warm spot and give the plants some protection during the winter cold.

This plant stays evergreen and you don’t need to prune it. If there are occasional old, ugly leaves, you can just cut them away.
