Sedum reflexum

The Dutch name “Tripmadam” is probably derived from the French name “Triquemadame. This is a succulent with yellow-blooming star-shaped flowers and green leaves. In our assortment you will also find the variant with yellow leaves: Sedum reflexum ‘Angelina’. The flowers appear from June to September. This plant grows as a dense carpet and likes sunny, nutrient-poor places. Succulents store water, so they can go a long time without water. You can use Sedum reflexum in pile walls in a rock garden, as a green ground cover, on roofs, or even for greening planters in sunny places. It is also a valuable nectar plant for bees, bumblebees and hoverflies.

Care tips

Sedum reflexum needs little care if it is in the right place: in the sun and on a soil that is not too wet.
The plant stays green all year round, you do not need to prune it. Occasionally you can just cut away the old, ugly leaves. It does seed considerably.
