These extremely hardy, evergreen plants grow like a dense carpet and like sunny, nutrient-poor places. Sedums store water, so they can go for a long time without water. You can therefore use Sedums perfectly well in stacking walls in a rock garden, as green ground cover, between stepping stones, on roofs, or even for greening planters in sunny places.

Sedums need little care if they are in the right place: in the sun and in soil that is not too wet.
The plants remain green all year round, you do not need to prune them. Occasionally you can just cut away the old, unsightly leaves.
