Scabiosa columbaria ‘Pink Mist’ likes soil rich in lime, and even grows well on stony soils. It does not stand up well to excessively wet soil in winter. This plant thrives best in full sun, but can also be placed in partial shade, although the flowering may be a little less. It is best to move the plant as little as possible, but if you must, preferably do so in April. Occasionally you can give it some fertilizer to keep it healthy.
