Care tips

Helleborus niger is not an easy plant for the garden because it is quite picky about where it stands. It likes soil that is well-watered, fertile, contains some lime, and it likes to be in partial shade. Beware of snails, as they love the young buds, leaves and roots of this plant. So a little protection is recommended.
