Cirsium rivulare ‘Trevor’s Blue Wonder’ is an upright, perennial plant with prickly lanceolate gray-green leaves that are softly hairy on the underside. Blooms on erect purple stems with thistle-like, deep red-purple flower heads. Plant in moist but well-drained soil in the sun. Tolerates short dry periods and partial shade.
