Oxalis ‘amarantha’ grows best in a bright spot in the sun or partial shade, in well-drained soil. Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid letting the roots sit in water. During the growing season, the plant can benefit from occasional fertilization to encourage flowering. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally; the tubers can then overwinter in the ground, provided the location does not become too wet or too cold.
