Geranium ‘Rozanne’

A particularly colorful ground cover, this geranium with violet-blue flowers with a white center. Starting in May, this geranium blooms incessantly until late in autumn. The Storkbek is a so-called host plant. This means that this garden plant has a positive influence on insects and other animals in your garden. Geraniums can be planted in a variety of ways: in groups, along the edge of paths, in rock gardens, cottage gardens, planters and pots. This Geranium Rozanne does not proliferate and can be easily combined with other plants such as Verbena (Ironweed), Salva (Sage) species and Nepeta (Cat’s Spice).

Care tips

This plant likes a spot where the sun shines regularly, but occasional shade from trees or shrubs is also fine. The soil in which it grows should be nicely rich in nutrients, permeable to water and retain a little moisture. But even in a drier place it does well.

In winter, the Stork Snapdragon dies off almost completely above ground. After flowering, it is best to cut it back considerably, to only a few inches above the ground.
